Linux: entering Crash Site directly
The Astro Bot bring-up report uses the game's -lvl hub_crashsite argument on Arch Linux with a Radeon RX 6650 XT and RADV. This gets the character into one area without completing the usual opening sequence.
The integration combines upstream work with fork topics and additional changes. There is no public integration branch for this tested configuration. AnyPS5 setup covers the general workflow if you are preparing a build of your own.
Memory settings and remaining limits
The test raises the host-import budget and temporarily increases the kernel's udmabuf limit for the scene's memory imports. Use those values only with the described configuration and restore the kernel limit after an attempt.
Gameplay remains very slow, while audio quality and broader rendering correctness still need checking. A useful follow-up would start a normal New Game and reach Crash Site without the direct level argument. AnyPS5 requirements explains how to read the hardware and build conditions below.
