Windows: loading on the October 14 stack
Celegans12's Ghost of Yōtei discussion identifies main base dacd785 with additional pull requests and local fixes. The launch also depends on an existing save past the first-boot screens, an entitlements file and offline pipeline preparation.
Large shader pipelines take substantial time to prepare, while memory pressure remains a problem on this setup. Increasing a timeout does not by itself solve those issues. The 50-minute limit describes a loading experiment, so it should not be read as a stable gameplay session.
Later experimental progress
An October 15 follow-up in the same discussion reaches the opening cinematic's burning-tree scene on a different experimental stack. Its changes are worth following if you want to investigate what gets this title past loading.
For a comparable attempt, start with the exact game version, save state and patch list. Then record whether your first failure occurs before the title, during pipeline preparation or after loading begins. AnyPS5 troubleshooting helps organize that information, and AnyPS5 requirements explains the distinction between a reported machine and a minimum specification.
Other experimental games
Demon's Souls on AnyPS5 also separates normal startup from a patched scene test. Astro Bot on AnyPS5 reaches a short interactive scene through a direct level argument. Return to AnyPS5 games for the wider list.
