Linux: an existing character reaches the camp
The Diablo II: Resurrected report uses main f71a31193, content version 01.039.000 and default game settings. The author loaded an existing character, waited a minute, then measured two minutes while standing still. That describes one camp scene rather than a test of combat or a full act.
An earlier configuration in the same discussion reached character creation and the camp with sound. Those older observations belong to their own builds. Online play failed authentication; occasional startup and background-network crashes were also reported earlier in the thread.
Keep the performance patch separate
The October 19 comparison reached about 8 FPS with patch #7618 on the same host. That result belongs to the patched build. Start with the recorded main revision if you want a clear comparison, then follow the patch's own instructions before trying it.
Use AnyPS5 setup to prepare the executable and game modules. If loading fails, AnyPS5 troubleshooting helps separate a startup error from the slow scene that follows. Browse AnyPS5 games for results that better suit a first session.
