Linux: rooms, movement and sound
The Withering Rooms report uses main 23be5a02b without extra pull requests or environment switches. The host has a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RX 9070 XT and 31 GB of memory, running CachyOS Linux with Mesa 26.2.4.
The title screen renders and responds at about 45 FPS. Captured gameplay frames show 14–27 FPS in the Gatehouse Residence, a study and the Gatehouse Hallway. The “Open” prompt appears, but part of the interface is corrupted, some walls have lighter rectangular patches and audio has hiccups.
Prepare the modules, then expect the stability limit
The game loads its Unity modules from Media/Modules and Media/Plugins. Convert both directories with --module-dir as described in AnyPS5 setup; passing an individual module as the executable does not prepare the game correctly.
The two reported crashes occurred after 154 and 232 seconds. Record your build, driver and last room if you encounter the same problem, using AnyPS5 troubleshooting to preserve the first failure. Return to AnyPS5 games for longer-session results.
