Stray on AnyPS5

Updated

Stray reaches its opening with the cats on Windows 11 at about 12–13 FPS. The October 19 report shows the environment rendering without obvious major corruption, but does not establish later levels, extended stability or persistent saves.

Windows: from calibration to the opening scene

The Stray Windows report uses main 04078b107, title ID PPSA02100 and content version 01.002.000. The host has a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080, NVIDIA driver 617.42 and 32 GB of memory. Its CPU, graphics card and memory use custom tuning; the author did not compare stock settings.

Publisher logos, brightness calibration, the main menu and save selection work before gameplay. Closing another GPU-heavy application did not change the observed 12–13 FPS.

A dump without PlayGo files needs an explicit setting

This dump stopped at startup because sce_sys/playgo-chunk.dat and sce_sys/playgo-scenario.json were missing. The author used APS5_PLAYGO_UNLISTED_CHUNKS=installed to describe the installed content and get past that stop. Follow AnyPS5 setup for the executable and six bundled modules.

Linux results in the same discussion use a different content version and later scenes. Their frame rates and save results belong to those configurations. Before a longer Windows session, check whether your own save survives a restart. Return to AnyPS5 games for other results.
