Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree on AnyPS5

Updated

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree reaches character selection and its first gameplay scene on Windows. Xbox controller input works, but the scene runs near 5 FPS and new screens can pause for up to about twenty seconds.

Windows: a slow first scene

The Mandragora report uses main 5d9dcc42d2 with #5651 and #6343 present, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5090 with NVIDIA 617.42. The author says those two patches are unnecessary for this title, but the selected run still contains them.

The game version is 01.006.002. Its intro and some cinematics reach 60 FPS, which does not describe gameplay. Audio was not assessed.

Unwrap the title's modules and keep them in their original directories when using AnyPS5 setup. Return to AnyPS5 games for other reports.
